The Polish University Club of New Jersey was founded in 1925 by a group of Polish-American college graduates. It was formally incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 1933 as a 501(c)3 organization that supports higher education. Educational pursuit is the driving force behind the organization. Funds for scholarships have been raised through fundraisers, donations, and endowments. Scholarships are awarded annually to deserving Polish-American students who meet the scholarship requirements of leadership, academic rigor, and financial need. To date, nearly 1,000 scholarships, in varying denominations, have been awarded.
